In E065, Kevin McHardy shares his rent to own strategy that has allowed him to build up an 8 property portfolio while working as a full time commercial pilot. Kevin got his first taste of real estate in the early 2010s and realized he was onto something. After reading Mark Loeffler’s book on rent to own, Kevin decided to move full-steam ahead with the strategy and has never looked back.
During the episode we discussed the nuts and bolts to the strategy, common pitfalls, support and education and what Kevin and I believe is needed to be successful (this is not advice and please always consult your investment advisor prior to making any investment decisions). Kevin has the right attitude for success and seems to be a natural at problem solving.
